Why KM-Consulting and Development Services exits –the Story by our founder
I saw them registering their businesses and some pitching their business concepts, I got excited, because I didn’t only see people who were leveraging on the opportunities made available for the SME sector, and people taking ownership in response to high unemployment rate – the passion that they exuded drew me to them. But something happened, 3 years down the line most of those businesses no longer existed, the passion I once saw was gone. I got sad because most of those businesses were viable and I was quite sure that the vision those people had was still there, deep inside. I conducted a research with the intention of bridging the gap between high number of businesses registered yearly and the high number of businesses that went out of business yearly. And grounded in my strong conviction and believe in possibility of the business concepts they have becoming the next big thing in the SA’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, I launched KM – Consulting and Development Services to focus on the planning and growing of a business. I believe what startups need to become the next corporations is a well-defined and fully baked business concept, clear business model, well packaged value proposition and business systems as well as support. And that’s why I started the company, to do just that. The aim is not to help clients build businesses that merely survive, but tomorrow’s scalable business empires.
